2014年 アメリカ合衆国オレゴン州ユージーンにて結成。主にギタリスト「Mark Leahey Jr.」が作詞作曲を手がける。60年代70年代のサイケデリックやクラウトロック、プロトパンク、ポストロックに影響を受け、2016年半ばより3ピーススタイルを基本に、時折ゲストプレーヤーを迎えてのライブを行う。2017年 ニューアルバム「Hyperborean」をリリース。CDやレコードの他、デジタル配信からのダウンロードも可能。2018年 満を辞してジャパンツアーを敢行。決して同じライブを繰り返すことのない、彼らの焼き付けるような激しいライブを見逃すな！
Paleons, of Eugene, OR has been playing in one iteration or another since 2014, with guitarist Mark Leahey Jr.’s songwriting making up the backbone of the band’s work.
Drawing influence from 60’s and 70’s psychedelia, krautrock, proto-punk, and post-rock, the current three-piece lineup with occasional collaborators has been in existence since mid 2016.
Their newest and most coherent record, Hyperborean saw digital, CD, and vinyl release in 2017.
Paleons delivers a blisteringly loud live performance that never sounds the same twice, touring much of the western United States, in addition to frequent local shows in their home of Eugene.
PALEONS embarks on its debut Japan Tour in May, 2018.
